................. this is day 17 on the online WW plan for me. I have followed it ot the letter, generally use very few of the weekly points (maybe 10 - 12) and most days I use all the daily points, occasionally 1 or 2 less. Am never hungry and am eating LOADS! Mainly fruit and veg I must admit.

I also do about 30 mins on Wii Fit most days and also Zumba 3 - 4 times a week for an hour each time. I don't "eat" any of my activity points.

And so in 17 days I have lost 1st 5lb (with lots more still to go!) and I am very impressed. Is this normal? How does it compare to your experience? If I keep doing what I am doing will it continue at this rate?

I help out at a WW meeting and someone else lost weight like you have and WW wrote to her and told her she was losing weight too fast! However, well done for losing the weight so far and WW on line may have some advice as to how to slow it down as - it is often said - the quicker you lose it, the quicker it goes back on! Is it possible for you to go to a meeting? Take care. Ruthx
I lost weight quite quickly with WW and eventually stopped going because I thought I could keep it up. I ended up putting it all back on. People may say that is because I lost it too quickly but it was just because I like food. Entirely my own fault! Lol!

Thanks for your feedback - I don't feel it's too fast, and it's more to do with the level of exercise I have ramped up to - however, feels like a new way of life now to be honest - and it's making me eat much more fruit and veg ...... so I can't see me going back to old eating habits .................... and I have been out to eat 4 time in the 17 days ............... I have been sensible though - never ordered a salad when out for dinner before!! lol x
How tall you are, whether you are male or female, and how much you need to lose will all influence how much comes off, and how quickly. You've only been on it for just over 2 weeks-you may have lost a fair amount of water in that time-and so loss may soon slow down somewhat.

Pastafreak!!!! Nooooo!! Don't want it to slow!! Lol. Thanks for your advice nonetheless x
I have lost over 5 stone since last August, the first month I lost over a stone and people remarked that I was losing it to quickly, but it soon levels out, after a while i was averaging between 2-4lb a week, Like you I was exercising as well which I think is the key to successful weight loss.

My goal was 13st And I am currently 13.11St, the hardest part has been the last stone, but I don't weigh myself as much now and as im doing a lot more excersise so my muscle tone has built up. I'm in no rush to reach my goal anymore as i am happy with how i am now, just want to tone up my wobbly tummy and lose some off my love handles!

i have done diets before and have rewarded myself for doing good with a treat and found myself going back into my old ways and putting weight back on! This time I have decided to make some lifestyle changes instead of dieting and this is how i will have to live from now on, One of the things i did was to buy smaller dinner plates!, and lots of freezer containers (when a cooking sauce says serves 4 i make the same ammount but freeze half instead of eating it between the two of us!!) and no second helpings! No picking at the leftover food from my childrens plates either!

But the biggest thing is exercise, I now go to the gym and go swimming at least four times a week.

down side is its cost me a fortune in new clothes (none of my suits fits me anymore) gone from a 42in waist to 34 :0)

Keep going and well done you.

Thanks for your kind words MrIncredible ..... and well done you too!!!! Exercise is the key, but being happy with how you are is more important I think, so good for you!!
I find exercise is the key too. Ive lost 2 and half stone in just over a year with slimming world. Ive been stuck weightwise for about 4 months, but am still losing inches due to walking cycling and zumba. I feel great and even though I need to lose at LEAST another 1 and half stone Im quite happy to lose just 1 pound a week. You have started well, keep it up and you will see the results x
