Chicken pie and mash....

I don't think I've ever made that for Ginge. I got some pies for my cousin to cook for the kids while we were away for the weekend. She got them a takeaway instead. Hope he likes pie..!!
I've done cream of tomato soup, then falafels, hummus, butter beans in tomato sauce, pitta breads and salad. With a nice bottle of Chianti.
Then I'm going to sit in front of the coal fire and watch the match.
Liver and Bacon with a red wine reduction for the liver, New potatoes and broad beans in a cheese sauce and a very large glass of red wine :o)
It's been a nice sunny day and I fancied a taste of summer, so we are having parmigiana melanzane (layered griddled aubergines and red peppers with a tomato sauce and mozzarella and parmesan), served with a green salad and some ciabatta.

Mmm, might have sweet and sour later in the week, haven't had that in ages!
Gammon Steak and Eggs
Curry.

Maybe Chinese.

Orrrrrr ... Fish and Chips?
erm... beans on toast for me!
Giant Yorkshires filled with chicken, stuffing & roasties, with spring cabbage
mmmmm..... Pie and Mash sounds better
Smoked mackeral with whatever veg I find at the bottom on the freezer.
no idea whatever inspires me when i get home, the way i'm feeling it will be bar of choc in bed!
Hiya zzxxee,

Mrs bear and I have already eaten a late lunch about 2.00'sh, so pretty stuffed........went for a carvery as she was home early from the airport.

So just the kids to feed and mrs bear's preparing Spaghetti Bolognese, which they absolutely love. Our youngest needs a big napkin, as it goes all over the place when she eats....lol

We'll sit around the table with them, as usual, and have a good natter, and may have some cheese and biccies, grapes and a glass of Pino. Most civilised.....lol.

Should be ready in about an hour.
Don't say the choc word Fluffy. I haven't had any since Xmas :o(
Isn't it funny how everyone else's Tea sounds better than yours
even mine mazie!?
yogi - aren't your kids a bit young to be drinking wine?
Question Author
your sounds lovely Maizie
my youngest loves her spag bol as well bear x
With one or two exceptions of course ;o)
Spag Bol made with Turkey Mince - making two lots to freeze, some for my Dad, who is eating far too many convenience meals.
Had text from eldest earlier, who's away in New York on a college trip, and he mentions that he's loving every minute of it......and tonight the group are eating at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. on Times Square, which i've eaten at many times and is absolutely superb. :0)
