I totally forgot it was my sisters birthday yesterday. She went to so much effort for me on mine that I feel terrible and need to do something for her. Money isn't really an object for her so she has everything she needs and I'm on a pretty tight budget. She's really busy with a new job and lives in London so going out for dinner isn't going to be easy and Dad sent her a bunch of flowers at work so I can't really do that. Any suggestions to make me less rubbish? She's mid 30's.

How about a voucher for a beauty treatment?
Spa treatment in somewhere like the Sanctuary in London?
Go and see her; could someone let you into her house/flat so you could cook her dinner as a surprise treat for when she comes in from work?
PS, from the heading I thought you were looking for a present FOR a terrible sister, not from one!

I've got keys. I was going to go into town yesterday morning and buy her loads of little bits then drop them off at the flat as I knew they were out overnight on saturday but she called me from home before I was even dressed.

She takes alot of pride in her appearance so maybe a spa treatment would be good. I have some Tesco vouchers I could use on her.
Why do you call her terrible if she made so much effort for you?

Thanks Boxtops, will take a look.
Ahh...realise my mistake now!! Anyway, whatever you decide, add a lottery ticket or scratchcard. I did this with my niece last week (she's at university) and she had four numbers up and won £44, she was really delighted!
