Yes doc, i find Eyam a fascinating village.
Would rather get the plague than go to Eyam:-)
Is Eyam the "Plague" village? I think its great that the traditions like well dressing still go on.
Is well dressed a similar thing to well hung?
That's beyond Hope, isn't it......Castleton:-)
we have a scartcrow decorating comp here every year, it's amnazing, this year they did the x factor judges for one lol

Oh dear salla, you've got your bananas in a muddle once more...lol!
salla you are incorrigible
Question Author
Definitely beyond hope carrust.
I know, but I make no apology (for most of it....).

Dot - round here they have scarecrow-dressing comps. They had some brilliant ones round the Grantham area (Lincolnshire) last year, I was very impressed.
In Grantham they just pull people off the main street for the competition...the judges have a right job picking a winner:-)
Blame Margaret Thatcher..... !

When i was young i used to live in Aslockton near Grantham.
And of course you can't beat a bit of Welly Wanging in Upperthong, Yorks. Sounds painful!!
Question Author
Welly Wanging in Upperthong could give you a dodgy prostrate eh?
Indeed but Matron is here to minister to any sport related injuries.
