I read in The Times today (Daddy's paper, not mine, I hasten to add) that Sebastien Chabal is going home after 4 years.

It seems a shame. He must have been quite a character in Sale.

Once we'd got his number on the field, I started to quite like him. In the World Cup, everyone thought he was this big, intimidating character. When France played England, the England boys decked him fairly hard a few times, and he realised that they weren't scared of him. After that, he was just another ordinary player (but more hairy!).

And so I quite like him. But apparently his wife can't stand the crap climate in the North West, so she's taken her little bikini, and their daughter, and moved back to the South of France.

She sounds quite sensible.

Sebastien can't bear the thought of being apart from them, so he's off too. He's just a big softy, and a jolly nice chap.

I agree Jayne, He's hell of a back row but easy to deal with once you know how. The top boys just study study. Even McCaw is losing effectiveness now and tends to spend most of he game trying to intimidate the ref. I wish him well though great character and I'd imagine he'sa great bloke to have a pi55up with!

I love this ...

I think (somebody will probably correct me) that the All Black getting tackled is Chris Masoe. Seen from all the angles, he knew he'd been hit.

As he manfully gets up, his legs give way under him. Having said which, he did whack his head on the ground when Chabal decked him.

Actually, I think the pass to the All Blacks No. 8 was a bit of a hospital ball.
Footballers should watch clips like that, maybe they`d think twice about rolling around on the floor after a slight knock on the ankle

I agree, Elvis68.

Did you see this thread, with another great little video ...

Most of the girls I've played Lacrosse with have been more robust that most football players.
Brilliant clip, one of the reasons I won`t pay 40 to watch someone earn 50k + a week to roll around like a big jessie

Shame about the choice of music for the Rugby clip though

What, Gary Glitter?

Yes. An amusing little choice.
