Hi I have ended up with a platinum diamond engagement ring, on the specification sheet it has the following... D 1:0.31K/J/JF/PT.5g Can anyone help decipher what this all means this as it was originally from Hong Kong. (I would also add that it is not my engagement ring, just one that I have now inherited!) Thanking you all!

I have no idea, best bet is probably to go to a reputable jewellers and they should be able to help.

I would imagine the 1:0.3 1K suggests the ring is at least 1 carat.
That will relate to the cut,clarity,colour and size of the stone or stones.Try looking here for information:
