Morning all. What a grim day it is so far...mist and murk and drizzle. Whats everyone got planned for today..I wanna hear all your plans. Nothing exciiting for me..just another day at the grind :( Here's some thoughts for the day....... '' I've learned u cannot make someone love you. I have a busy day ahead :-(

I was out of the office yesterday and instead of someone being nice and trying to cover for me I just have twice as much to do today, but I am in a "can't be arsed" mood so they can blooming well wait (she says whilst peeking through AB so can't be that busy LOL).

I think I need a cup of tea and then I will be organised :-)

...Is it nearly hometime yet?

Nothing planned this morning, the eldest 4GS lad is off school with swollen glads so I'm looking after him till Mrs 4GS gets home, then I'm off to meet someone who (I hope) is going to offer me a job teaching First Aid

Adults at work, I've got all me IOSH + H+S at work qualls, and I was a F.A instructor in the Army.

Get into it andi, the financial rewards are good, working conditions are better than the crap you deal with on a day to day basis, (I spent a couple of weeks on a placement with the Ambulance service) and it's 9-5, no shifts, no stress

wow full of the joys of the world today arent you :-) Hey it may be drizzly but it isnt frozen and its warmer. :-) Think positive. I've learnt that instead of feeling sypathy pains for my sis and other ABers in there pregnancies I've got sympathy brains.

I'd miss the blood and guts 4GS!! But needless to say not the vomit and poo!! Plus teaching first aid using scenarios and dummies sounds a bit dull to me!!

Morning red, you put your feet up flower and relax! Its not a day for venturing out, (well it isn't up north anyway), so chill and relax with the tv and a brew. When's baby red due? x

I didn't mind the blood+guts andi, I could deal with any bodily fluid except vomit. The only time I felt bad was when I was carrying a wounded American squaddie and she pucked on me, she had poo'ed and pee'ed herself, then, as I was dealing with her wound, she launched her breakfast all over me.
Arrrrrrrrrrrgh, warm wet second hand bacon beans and fried egg aint good!!

Yeah I can handle the poo. wee, blood but not the vomit. That has to be one of God's worst creations....and no matter how many times I tell myself its only food(as I hold the vomit bowl), I still have to hum to myself and look away to try and distract from the god awful scene in front of me. Dirty people!! But still has to be more interesting than plastic resusi-annie and her friends!!!

Well so far I am still the only person in the office. Not necessarily a bad thing though, except I just had a poor little man on the phone for 20mins. He's got mental health probs, and I have a sneaking suspicion he is an alocoholic too. He is very distressed because somebody ripped some paper up and it was outside his doorway - he has been up since 3am stressing about this.

Ooooh, someone has just come in - hurrah!

Oh, and I don't mind, wee, poo or puke, but my hubby who doesn't mind clearing the stuff up gags at the SOUND of someone else being sick which I think is hilarious. He just has to hear someone hurl ad it makes him pukey, LOL
