Was thinking of trying on line dating. But am embarrassed to put down that I am unemployed (got made redundant last month)

If you were looking for "love on line" would it put you men off, if the woman was not working?

Thanks sleepy xxxx, Yes I am great, just not very good at showing that on a profile.

Maybe you should put that on your paper, that just because you are currently unemployed doesnt mean you should be looked passed. And if they go on salery then go for the rich men and get yourself a sugar daddy, then it wont matter if you work or not lol xx
trinny give it a go and see what happens ........ you have so many other things to offer a man and im sure you will get a new job real soon any way . new job and new man just keep that in your head ..

misty, its when I put in my profile.....Dependants..4............occupation.......not working.......makes me look like a scummy mum. Which I am not.

Maybe I wont try online dating then lol.
if they aren't looking past that bit of the paper Trinny they are not good enough love .:-)
Not that I take the offers up, like really I dont but I get asked out a fair bit on places like myspace. Even the a band messageboard I use and yup even here. Try a social networking site like myspace, you can be super honest, say you arent working, write a blog explaining why you arent working and who knows, it costs nowt. Theres a browse section so you could look for guys in your area.
If your looking for a job now then why not wait till you've got one then try it?

think I am too old to go on myspace, Goodsoulette, am 45!! ideally I would like to meet someone via a friend, or out socially, but as my social life is pretty crap. Online dating seemed the only way forward for me.

misty, it could be ages before I get a job.

bigmamma, I know, they should look past that, but do they? xx
