sorry I see it has already been discussed
It can never be discussed enough, I hate that sort of overlooked misunderstood situation

anyone got the link to that man high diving into a paddling pool, want to see it again it's nuts
its about time the victim fought back...well done kid.....
So I'm supposed to condone one kid nearly slamming another kids head in to concrete because of bullying? Sorry, don't think that's an appropriate reaction to a punch and some name calling. If he'd given the other kid a punch in the jaw, then probably I'd be more sympathetic.
I'm with the big kid 100%. I was bullied as a teenager and have had dental problems all my adult life as a result. Oh, what I wouldn't like to have done to the little cow!

'everywhere'
China Doll - whilst I do see your point and I know if I thought about it I'd probably agree, as one who will never forget being the victim of bullying (and I'm talking about decades ago) when I saw this clip a week ago I shouted in support of young Casey. I wish more victims could lay their bullies out like this.
If the kid being bullied had actually killed that other kid, (it could really have gone horribly wrong), what good would that have done him in the long run?! Nothing... giving the other kid a good kicking back is one thing, this could have ended differently. I think some of the emotional knee jerk reactions of 'I was bullied too' actually need to consider from a different perspective, he could have ruined his life by his actions. I didn't fit in perfectly at school, my satisfaction is the life I have now.
i must dissagree with you on this 1 china...if this bullying has been going on for say months then im sure the tension must have been building up in this lad for ages and he just snapped...everyone has a breaking point....
Poke a dog long enough and it'll bite you ... simple.
People tried to bully me at secondary school, some succeeded, I've always been a difficult person to intimidate for a sustainable period fortunately. I agree that you could loose it in a moment, I'm not a violent person by nature but it's probably best not to push your luck, but while I'm all for the victim of bullying turning round and giving another child a damn good hiding, I really think that this fella was lucky he didn't give his bully a head injury. He needs help with his anger... the other kid needs a damn good kicking but not braining ;0)
A dog that bites often gets put down and the victim carries on, scarred but still able to go about their business... Hardly a fair trade.
As I said on the other thread about this earlier in the week, my own nephew is the lad's double and he suffered the same sort of bullting as my sister-in-law wanted him to stary in main stream education instead of the 'special' school. He had a similar reaction, it was not within his capabilities to control his reactions, no child should have to be left to handle it alone,
'no child should have to be left to handle it alone'

^^^ Now that, I'm in total agreement with.
and I think the video clip screams out that the child was reacting in desperation, it must be mind blowingly frustrating to not know why people don't like you when you come from a loving warm home where you are looked after and respected.
I'm sorry guys, I'm never going to agree that this kid was in the right. I think he needs help, I think the bully is a nasty piece of work, it could have ended badly and this story would be a lot worse.
-- answer removed --
I've thankfully never been in this situation, but I was glad to see that the big kid was able to handle himself - I'm not saying that his actions were justified but they were entirely understandable, we don't know how much the other kid had been tormenting him. I have no sympathies for the smaller guy, he started it.
