So this week I took my GD and her pal to the Aquarium

... (although, really, they just wanted shop).

While we were in there, a lady walked through with a microphone, announcing the feeding of the giant turtles.

She was followed by ... "Sharkey"

Now, Sharkey was a man (probably) dressed in a foam shark outfit.

The girls decided that getting lumbered with being the foam shark for the day was a total failcake of a job.

Are there any worse examples of jobs where everyone thinks ...

"I hope I don't get lumbered with that job today!"

When I saw the title I assumed this was a question from mollykins- your only the second person since her that I've heard using that expression. Is it a southern/ young person's/ expression?
Should I use it at school to sound 'down with the kids'?
I haven't heard anyone over the age of 16 use "failcake".
Oops (before markrae sees it) - I meant "you're..."
I've never heard it before ...

I think it's a young thing, or a school thing.

My god daughter is home from school for half term, and she's been staying with me for a few days.

It must have rubbed off.

I'm guessing this makes me a bit of a grammatical failcake !!

Surely the word "failure" has less letters and would be quicker to type?
A quick search on AB shows you have used it before, too.
