Dry Skin After Hip Operation

My sister had an hip operation about 18 months ago and has a metal plate in her hip. However since the operation her skin is very very dry and itchy all over her body. Has anyone else suffered with this and what treatment have they used?

Until they find the cause, try Aqueous cream for washing and 50/50 or E45 cream to relieve the dryness and itching.
