Do all recovering anorexics go into a hypermetabolic state? If so why am I not?

So here's the deal. I went to the hospital to recover from anorexia and I worked up to eating 2500-2800 calories a day and when I got him after 10 days there I relapsed eating only 1300. My worry is that because of that and now being on more calories again my body will never go into a hypermetabolic state. Am I right to worry or will it happen?

You really need to ask the professionals dealing with you, if you are not eating enough then you must know you will not get better.

I am not being critical but this is a specialised area, do try to keep to the feeding plan given, we want you around ((hug))

Are you actively trying to go into a hypermetabolic state? If you are then you are most definitely not on the road to recovery.

Nobody on this website would encourage you to lose more weight, you know very well that you would lose a lot more weight if you did go into hypermetabolic state.
