my husband and I are in our 60`s and are separating.he to will not have thinks he will not have to pay anything to me.??

It will depend entirely on your circumstances. My first husband and I split in our 40s, he paid me half of the value of the house in which he was remaining, as I had paid half into the mortgage etc over the years. You need to seek legal advice before you finalise your separation order, as that will lay out all the financial details.
Seriously, you'll get conflicting advice and generlistic comments on here. Best see a solicitor
Agree with postdog - any of us who've done this will have different circumstances and experiences.

i have been made to understand that any money we have should be split 50-50.our home is rented,so no issue there.He intends to leave the UK.

Who's going to have him at over 60?
Jemisa - I know several ladies and chaps who have separated or been widowed, and started very well again at over 60!
My Uncle is 60...he's fit, good looking and looks in about his 40's...
Blimey, me and the other half are 5 years off sixty and we are relatively new together!

I have a small state pension,he is working part-time and receives a very good
state pension from abroad.obviously he will not be working when he leaves the UK..
He is coming up 68 and myself 66.,Been wed 40 years.

They seem to have restrictions on over 60s USA have OZ has, Spain? Its all to do with health & Finances isn't it.?

You MUST sort things out BEFORE he leaves the coumtry...or you will find yourself weel and truly up the kybosh !!!
