Any particular area Molly? Work related stress definitions can be found here: http://www.hse.gov.uk...ssandmentalhealth.htm it is probably worth digging around there for a while for some decent "official" stats.

Anything recent and reliable, i tried google myself but coulsn't find anything decent.

In general, solid statistics are hard to come by and often you'll have to pay for them.

Your best bets are those produced by the government.

Thanks ed i found something about the number of people off sick last year due to stress, anxiety or depression in your link, that'll do.
hi molly, the highest number of stress related illnesses in employment are NHS workers. i believe.
