I am 62 finished my periods when 56 had nothing since until this week and had some spotting. Is this usual ? Could it be hormonal?

No it is not normal
It MAY be hormonal.

It's something and nothing Sqad - don't feel ill or anything - just a bit hot this morning before I realised, and now it's stopped.
i absolutely agree with squad, go and see your gp midagetrolop, just to be on the safe side.
ps.love your username by the way, thought it was 'midge' at first :o)
This happened to a friend. The doctor said it was due to hormones and was also triggered by the ton-loads of different herbal supplements she had been taking.
