Has anyone tried the tresemme hair product range? I've got very dry, brittle, frizzy hair and was wondering if it would help? x x x

I've been using Tresemme shampoo and conditioner for a few months now, and have used the "heat defence styling spray" for ages too. I think it's a good product range but it's no miracle worker.

The best thing for your hair, which sounds much like mine, is to get it cut every 6ish weeks and use an intensive conditioner on it once a week, Frizz Ease glistening creme is probably the best I've used.

I've found it to be pretty average.  For moisturising, I think Dove does a better job and they have an intensive conditioner in the range.
i bought some of that today. got home and excitedly washed my hair hoping for a lovely finish, turned out to be not much different from the panten i use every day. way I see it you wont get hairdresser styled hair unless a hairdresser styles your hair. its not a bad price though, you gey loads in the bottle.

tresemme is crap why don't you think hairdressers use it any more. up until 6 months ago you could find it in the bargin corner of wholesalers of less than a pound a bottle!!!

your hair will be frizzy because of the dry condition. by some good shampoo like kerastase, paul mitchell, redken, or fudge. we will go out and spend fifty pound on a top but people by cheap shampoo thats crap from the supermarket because it was on offer. a good bottle of shampoo and conditioner should lasts 2 months, does any for dove or pantene do that??!

Yellowduck - you need to but L'oreal Professionel Intensive hair repair shampoo and conditioner, plus Kerastes serum for dry/frizzed hair. You can only buy these at a salon, not in a chemist or hair wholesaler. My hair was a disaster, dry, frizzy, wool like and generally dehydrated. These products have made my hair like silk, especially the conditioner. I promise you that you will love these. The tree products together cost about 28. However, they are still going and I first used them on December 13th!!!

I feel the need to defend Tresseme!!  I've been using it for a few months & I think it's really good compared to other brands I've used.

However, I think the greatest product ever is Aussie 3 Minute Miracle :-)

well fairy! aussie products are crap too try putting the shampoo onto a car's paint work and see it strip the paint.

kerastase products are excellent abit pricie but well worth in in the long run.

scissor sis - I was only stating my opinion, which everyone is entitled to.

I didn't actually mention Aussie shampoo... but if it does strip paint like you suggest, I'm sure other brands do it too.

you can get a product called aussie 3 minute miracle. its fantastic. lushious locks in no time
