OK so it's a bit of a random question but that's what AB is about.......I can remember listening to my grandad's 'Albert' watch. He died before I was 3.

JJ has the seagulls trained...no wonder she's regularly down the casino
I always think I must be odd when people ask this question because I don't remember anything until I was about 8 years old and it's always getting a good hiding off my mum. Can't remember what I'd done, just that she hit me a lot.
well found ttfn, weird and old, great combination (me I mean ;-)
mum singing baa baa black sheep to me think i was 2
Falling off a chair in primary school when I was about 5 years old, everybody laughed at me and the teacher made me stand in the corner facing the wall because I had disrupted the class, she neglected to see to my bloodied nose beforehand though and I spent the rest of the day looking like an extra from a horror film.
being in hospital aged 5 and smelling lily of the valley from the bunch on my locker..it was in the days before parents could stay and as my mum worked she only came to see me on sundays I think....and sitting in the hospital bed with a fuzzy felt circus

Falling off my tricyle and chipping a front tooth.

Being forced to eat jam sponge pudding at primary school lunch. I hated jam and I cried until Aunty Pam (Lil's mum - dinnner lady) came to my defence. I cried.
Being slapped at the dinner table when I screamed because a wasp had stung me on the leg. Mum slapped me because she thought my & my brother were kicking each other under the table, and I was the nearest to her.

It served her right half an hour later when my leg swelled up, my lips went blue & I started gasping for breath - I was allergic to wasp stings so it turned out. God, that made her feel guilty. Good. I played on that guilt and got lots of chocolate once I came out of hospital ;-)
Being in hospital at 2.5 years old. Lots of odd snippets about the horrible experience. Parents were only allowed in at visiting time. To be able to remember so much about it proves to me how traumatised I must have been. I can remember vividly the boy in the next bed, being given a toy by my Mum, that she insisted I give to another child when I left the hospital (:o() and being told off by a nurse for wetting myself. I also get flash backs to what I think might be having ether on cotton wool held over my nose.
Going to sunday school when I was 4, I still have the prayer book with my name and age in it and going to the infants school with my mum to "put my name down" as we used to say, I can remember watching the children painting pictures with powder paint that you mixed with water and looking forward to doing just that (nothing else) when I started school.
My Grandad coming to visit me in hospital.
I was rushed into hospital to have my stomach pumped after eating 49 Junior Asprins. My Grandad bought a small bar of chocolate in when he visited me and I can clearly remember a nurse taking it away because I wasn't supposed to eat anything.

I was about 18 months old...........he died a matter of months later.
Lil and I got thrown out of sunday school - too much giggling and wetting of the canvas chairs.

My mum only found this out about a month ago when I 'fessed up at a bbq. She thought we'd just got bored.
A very vague recollection of sitting in a high chair, being fed baby-food gloop by my Dad. After that, my 3rd birthday party, and bursting into tears when Mark Upton blew out the candles before I had a chance to.
Being in London in Trafalgar Square and feeding the pigeons. Got a photograph of it. I look really fed up. I was 2.
A couple of incidents at nursery, so I must have been about 3 or 4?

I was a bit of a kleptomaniac back then, and if someone had something I wanted, I just took it. I remember stealing a rubber sheeps mask (???) and a hula hoop from other children and getting a rollocking from my mum.
I'm afraid, Boo, that is where my propensity towards shoplifting first started - kleptomania as a 3 year old. It was all downhill from there ;-)
