Can I listen to my iplayer in my office - if I keep the noise down and no one else can hear it can they object? I am sick of listening to their deary chit chat

I always used to listen to my i-pod in office, as long as I still answered the phone they didnt care

Yes they can object. It will be at the discretion of your employer.
music helps me concentrate
Depends on the policies of your employer and what job you do. We arent allowed to have any music of any kind on any format now, we used to be able to play radio's on overtime but we now dont have the necessary licence's to do so. Gutted :(
we allow personal music players as long as it doesn;t affect performance or annoy other staff
Yep, depends on the job and the employer. They do have the right to refuse you.
There are obviously quite a few jobs where you can't be listening to music!!
