Colophonium allergy

I am allergic to colophonium, and its effect on my skin are horrible to behold.

Would it be a bad idea to stand next to a cellist? They must spray it into the air with every note.

Yes I am sure they do, have you thought about following Brass Bands instead, avoidance is the key.

Thanks for the answer mamyalynne. Avoidance is indeed the key - rather than risk it I decided to chicken out of the choir practice. I don't like to think of what a bright red itchy rash in my lungs would do for me!
