I have just got round to reading your friends problem and sorry that it has taken so long.

Ultrasound normal, Colonoscopy normal, blood tests normal, with her symptoms does suggest IBS. The "bloated and swollen abdomen, with or without pain is typical and there is not much that one can do about it.

I am afraid that she will have to live with this "bloating and swollen abdomen"
Sorry that I cannot be more helpful.

Good Morning Sqad - its so lovely to see your name appear again. Hope you and Mrs. Sqad are well.

I am off out now, hope to still see you on here later.
Sorry to jump in on someone else's question but welcome back Squad from me - did you have snow over there a few weeks back?
thank you so much for taking the time to reply Sqad.. good to see you back too!
just to add, I suffer from IBS and have found that you can eliminate the bloating by removing certain trigger foods from your diet, do a search on ibs trigger foods, you may find a correlation between what you eat and your symptoms x
