buying a 2nd hand car/ tranding standards?

ive just brought a 2nd hand car from a dealer and to cut a long story short, Ad in local paper said 1 owner and on log book its says 3 owners, is this a case for trading standards because as well after 7 weeks he still hadnt sent of the log book off to DVLA.

Do not take this the wrong way Yobanfa, why bye the car when it was noticed what you said? take the car back & demand your money back, you are well within your rights to do this, If your problems have started now, I dread to think what could happen in the future, there are plenty of used cars out there take a bit of advise, if you are not well up on the workings of a car take someone with you that knows.

thank you for your answers, i never looked at the log book when i saw the car, but it was 2 private address when i got the log book off him, All i want to know is, do i have a case for tradeing standards as the ad in paper said it was only 1 owner and even after 7 weeks he still hadnt sent the log book off to DVLA
