How did it go on your job with guy whom you don't get along with? If I missed you posting about 'it' I'm sorry.

hi society :o)

I'm not sure what you mean. I'm having to deal with 2 ar5es at work right now. one of them hasn't spoken to me for 2 years (he is a sociopath!) and the other made extreme racist comments to me.

can you remind me, please? (sorry!)
you have a range of work 'enemies' then sarah

Yes, that's the one; the one that hasn't spoken to you for two years. I couldn't find the original thread where you'd spoken about him. I believe you said your boss wants you both to get along or something like that.
beejay, shove off, my love!

society, you're right and thank you for remembering. my boss and her deputy have been piling on the pressure recently, and eventually I told them in no uncertain terms that I'd had enough and it was to stop. I mentioned the word "bullying" and they shrank away, lol! I don't think I care now. I'm not being unprofessional, I speak to him when I have to.. I just don't want to go back to sharing jokes and going out for walks at lunchtime!

what do you think?
Question Author
I'd do exactly like you are currently doing. As a matter of fact I was once in a similar situation, only difference is - my boss was on my side. But, I had to work together with those people so I said morning and got busy with my work. Spoke only about work related issues when I needed to. And I was very good at my job so I had no complains from my boss. I'm very good at ignoring people, and I never argue or quarrel.
good for you!

this man has caused a lot of problems and is now complaining that various people aren't speaking to him. I thought it might look bad for me, as he (apparently) has said he'd like to put it all behind us. bless him.. no apology then?!! I think he may make a formal complaint against me, and I almost hope he does.

thanks for your support, sometimes it feels like I'm losing my marbles ;o)
Question Author
Sounds to me like that man has issues and the problems, not you - he's complaining that various people aren't speaking to him. If he does decide to formally complain on you, my guess is that you'd have all those 'various' people to support you on his obnoxiousness.

The important thing is that you are productive on your job, and you do speak to him when necessary. It's not like you both pass notes to each other. :)
yeah, he's a proper fruitcake, lol!

thanks again. I'm off to bed now. g'night x
