Hi
re these new identity cards, I just had the packs throught today and you do not need a passport to apply / qualify.
It says that you can still apply but you have to supply your parents details, their name at birth, current name or name at death, nationaliyu at time of your birth and if they have a passport the number OR if they had a passport when you were born , the number, OR if they had a passprt when they died the number!!! Or, the date your mum married your dad, all of that will be eventually enough toi confirm who you are!!!!!
I'm not sure where these interview centers are set up but it sounds ok so far!!

Thanks for that information Dot, have all that info (except passport details as they didn`t travel abroad either) so will look into it.

I ordered the packs online 2 nights ago and they came today, it looks simple enough, my eldest son has never had a passport nor driving license but with our info and his birth cert he can get one of these which is good.
But you have to attend a centre too do you? Will need to arrange transport for that.
Thanks again
