the white part on my nails (forgotten what you call it - the tip of the nail, maybe?!) is really big. so if i want to grow my nails it just looks silly because there's this big white tip!! argh, i wish it was thinner. anyways, is this a good or bad thing just out of interest?

can you not shape them with an emery board?
Or paint them. That's what I do :-/
and your toe nails, snags?
Hi Boobi's,

Just stay as you are, sweetheart...and where you are too xxx

Right, just got an e-mail....anyone seen some intruder with a really snotty and runny nose pretending to be me.........bogy-bear....tell him when i catch him, he's a gooner :0)
What colour are you wearing today snags? Love those really dark mahogany/black tones
Hello lardy (is it ok to call you that? could be misconstrued)... I'm preferring the fresh, summery tones right now...

Yogi... have a look over on the 'resting from AB' thread...
yogi, are you a bit confused, my sweet?
Ooops sorry, sophie...LOL....wrong thread....thats what happens when you log back in quick and try to post quick too....sorry to disturb you and all here.....as you were :0) x
You may Snags
Thanks snags and sara,

In the right place now........xx

**sneaks out again**
It's called the lunula
Oops, sorry, I misunderstood.

The lunula is the pale crescent at the base of the nail.

If the pale bit at the tip is too big, just cut it off!
Why do you think we have this white crescent at the base of out nails, as it never alters in size even though the other end grows and has to be cut or filed away regularly and yet the other end never changes?
I haven'y got any....am I malformed?
Are you stalking me Craft?
Yes....
Oh - er!
Not really.............I'm just your mirror image :-)
Just got sidetracked reading "Can a fly stop a train?" in the Science section.
Did you used to bite your nails?
