Think about the Bill !
I cried at 2 of mine............
I couldn't stop laughing at mine. The vicar had proper bad BO, and the childish side of me exploded during All Things Bright and Beautiful" when the line "the purple headed mountains" was sung
Just think about the fact that its all downhill from that point onwards. Years and years and years stretch ahead of you now with bugger all to break the monotony- that'll soon stop you crying tears of happiness.

It might however have you screaming and crying with hysterics- so perhaps not eh?
I must admit I burst out laughing during my first wedding 'cos the vicar had a ahem speech impediment. He said "this is a very solemn occasion and we'll have to start again"...........my best mate had her hankie stuffed in her mouth but could be heard snorting...............
Mr Boo laughed at me, as I couldnt say "solomnly" correctly. The git!
BOO,,,good job the vicar didn't ask you to spell it.......;-)
Zakly sqad, or i'd be doubly buggered.
BOO ;-)
I got the giggles at my 2nd wedding because the jamaican vicar, a dead ringer for Trevor MacDonald, got my name wrong throughout the ceremony (maybe that means I wasn't officially married?) - he married me in the name of Trenda. (It's Trina).

Also the 'wedding guests' consisted of hunky germans in very brief pink speedos, and half-naked people everywhere. And a caribbean steel band who were stoned and played 'Oh come all ye faithful' as I walked up the aisle (garden path) with my son....
sorry nic - forgot the question.
Just bite your lip. Hard.
You just have to stand up and be a man, it's not your day the bride is the star of the show, remember, noone looks at the groom.
Consuming a rather large amount of champagne beforehand worked for me.
awww - you soppy girl......look here:

I was worried I was going to cry throughout my daughter's wedding last year and a friend told me to keep smiling because it's impossible to cry whilst smiling. Don't know how true that it. As it was, I was so happy I grinned like a cheshire cat!! Have a wonderful day! ;-)

When the Vicar says 'Will thou take this Woman to be....' Say No and run out of Church
Ah, whats wrong with crying at your wedding, it's nice and everyone else will probably cry as well. Make sure you wear waterproof mascara. Congratulations, and have a great day.
