Hey Sky -we are way too similar -sure we werent seperated at birth ??????? !!!
Its a great wee job -I work for the best people and when I go in the kids all shout 'Hi Maureen' (nursery)
Just get zoned out when upstairs doing the housekeeping as im really on my own and I jump if anyone comes in as im easlily startled when im in my own wee world lol!
craft -thanks for that -im sure all the cleaners would appreciate what you said as its a good feeling to see the difference you have made and also its lovely having a wee lether with your clients.
The last private i had was the woman across the road and i ended up getting her papers and taking her shopping and know what we had such a laugh -when she became ill I went before and after work once she came out hospital and I found her when she had lain all night -she was ever so glad to see me and when she was taken away i phoned her daughters who live very far away and thankfully she held out until they arrived -it was a tough decision to make but I knew her and I knew her wee body had given up.Her girls have been ever so kind ot me and i was with the family at the funeral at their request.I was very moved I had been appreciated.
Anyway -where were we -me and my tangents ......................................:)

I jump too, especially when I have my ear phones in! Last week I was singing away and the office next to my storeroom told me I was chirpy as they'd heard me singing away!! lol!

lol dusty............I'm not posh............just common with a decent pension.
dris I always make sure that my cleaning lady knows I appreciate the work she does....as I have mobility problems I couldn't cope with the house myself. I think we go together quite well as she's a single parent trying to earn a decent living, and I don't mind the odd time she has to bring her little girl with her.......and she does a bloody good job.
