No idea where to put this, hope someone can help!!

I have a reoccurring (sp?) dream, and i can't find any sites online to decode all of it, any thoughts? The dream is the following:

I am walking along a dormitory, and all of my friends are sleeping in the lines of beds. I am wearing a black cloak-thing. I walk along, and snip a chunk out of each persons hair. Then i tie the hair into three cords, which i then plait (sp?). Then i light it with a match and it burns like a fuse, only i never see where the fuse leads.

Any suggestions welcome!!

Seems to me, reading between the lines and having right weird dreams myself... it's all about how you are comparing yourself to your friends.

Any suggestions welcome by you, Weaza but not by the editors. I was so proud of my previous answer which has been banned. The point I was trying to make is: do you really think dreams actually mean something? I never understood that.

Your body and brain are recouperating while you sleep. Neurons and such are sorting themselves out and sometimes cause your thoughts or dreams to make no sense.

The fact that the dream is recurring may be because you are trying to work out what it means. Stop thinking about it and you will dream about something else.

ezapf - your earlier was banned because it was reported as being irrelevant - and I'm sure you'll agree that it was irrelevant.

I can see someone considering it irrelevant if they did not take the time to think about what I meant by it.

You win. I will not try to make people think anymore.

I used to have this re-occuring dream.. I was in a funeral home( My grandpa owns one) and well i would go to turn the light switch on, and i would fall through the flooring..then i would look and i would be in the sky and then there would be hot air balloons flying..then i would get that butterfly feeling in my stomach...and then i would wake up...I used to get that dream all the time...not anymore tho..i have no idea what that one meant???
Weaza, I think you've been reading too much Harry Potter :-)   Really though, your dream is fascinating.  It sounds like an old witchcraft spell, a desire to control your friends' lives and destiny, though what you actually want their destiny to be remains a mystery.  That is just my interpretation, of course, and in the end no-one can tell you what your dreams mean.

dream interpretation is like having your palm read, or any other mind reading type thing.  It's all suggestion. One idea could fit everyone.  Don't read try to read too much into it.  It actually reminds me of an episode of Buffy so prehaps you're remembering a story from a film you saw years ago or something similar?

don't try to interpret the dream into ur life but urlife into ur dream.

ur dream could be caused by a reocuring thought u have during the day about a past incident or a recent problem u r still trying to solve. u may not realise it is what it is as even though it may seem trival a thought u can't get out of ur mind can have that effect. if u lead a hectic life it is even more difficult do work out what is at the root of the dream but if it is reocuring i would say it is something ur subconciously thinking about or rather try to solve or explain and havn't foud a solution.

sorry if this is long but it is difficult to explain myself inthis sort of feild

Walking in a dormitory in a black cloak where all your friends are sleeping.  It maybe you are a schoolmaster and cutting hair may mean  you are administering punishment and the fact you can't see where the fuse ends may mean you are feeling guilty about something
