Redozing dreaming

I've worked out that it's better to get a little extra rest than go through the entire day tired. So feeling knackered today at 9 am I went back and had 1 hrs kip, and I feel bright as a button, and I can be productive with my day, asking questions on the answerbank, eating turkey pizza, etc.

But why oh why oh why when I have that post sleep re-kip is it always full of lucid dreams? Am I the only one who gets this?

Turkey pizza?!

Anyway - they're more realistic as you've only *just* fallen asleep (mind still full of your day to day life**) and you remember the dreams better as you've just had them 10 minutes before waking up rather than 6 hours ago.

**dreams are hypothesised to help in the sorting and storing of memories so this is apparently why you often dream about things you're currently experiencing. Also, this idea is also implicated in why big decisions are best made after having "slept on it".
