Yes and NO

Yes the cervix can face the wrong way.

Does it stop you becoming pregnant?....possibly not, the medical profession being divided and the jury is still out.

it can't i don't think - certainly not in my case anyway! i got up the duff the minute we started trying...

I have a retrovated cervix and am the proud mother of 3 children,so no it didn't prevent pregnancy in my case, I was told at age 17 that the best way to conceive with this type of cervix is for the woman to be on all fours and have the partner enter her from behind, or to do the 'spoons' position. All 3 of mine were conceived in the spoons position :-)
