make up question!

I need some advice on make up application! I usually do foundation/powder/eyeshadow/mascara. I don't wear lipstick, and I like the pale mouth thing. But by mid-morning I have a nasty foundation line on the inside edges of my mouth. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can do my "base" and have pale lips without plastering on lipstick?

THANKS!

when you put the foundation on try not to let it go on your lips use a makeup sponge if neccesary to go round lip area,,why dont you put a bit of lip gloss on lips or even a smear of vaseline,,why dont you try estee lauder maximum cover foundation it is 20 but lasts 6 months as i use it every day and only get 2 a year..it is really creamy and you wont need the powder which could be contributing to your makeup line..hope it helps...gypsy

I agree with Gypsy do use a good base.

To add to the above suggestions these are the two I use, both oil and re-touch free, so no need for powder.

Lancome Teint Idole and Estee Lauder Double Wear. Both 20 but last at least 6 months.

Something you could try for pale lips is the very lightest lip pencil to outline and also fill in, then use a smear of gloss - and blot with a tissue.
