Someone has taken the old kitchen sink from the garden (we have no back fence at the mo) they have also taken the old pots that I found lurking in the back of Gingers old cupboards. All this stuff is packed neatly at the back waiting for the next skip to be hired...

But who would want an old kitchen sink that was starting to crumble and some old pots that were so rank I wouldn't even attempt to clean them...

Strange..

Afriend of mine from Bermuda told me that in the area where he lived, householders could put out items they no longer wanted to b e collected by the council refuse collectors , and up to 12 mid day anyone who wanted an item could just take it away..After 12 noon the lorries from the council would take away everything that was left, and they emptied the dustbins at the same time.He said he had acquired some very nice bits and pieces that way. Sounds a good idea.
