Which is better, straight hair or curly hair?
Why?

Obviously straight. A curly barnet is totally unpredictable and changes in shape and volume from one day to the next. On the other hand, a straight barnet, while admittedly rather boring, is the same every day. One can rely on it for special occasions and it looks bouncy in a ponytail (not speaking from personal experience of course).

I had short curly hair and i hated it so I grew it out and got it straightened and I still hate it and now use curling iron occasionally and want to cut again.
Really, either can be good as long as you know what to do with it and as long as it matches your face shape.

Hairdressers always prefer curly or wavy hair as you can do a lot more with it and it is full of natural movement.  Straight hair is a bit "does what it says on the tin" and can be difficult to get to hold a curl or get volume in to.

Snap Yinzer - At school I hated having curly hair, but now I have had it straightened I really miss the curls and waves and have bought myself some curling tongs as an Xmas pressie to myself :)

And agree with camille, I feel lucky I have thick hair as you can nothing with fine dead straight hair, curls drop out, pony tails wisp around your head....

Definitely straight, my girlfriend has long flowing straight her down her back, none on her head just flowing down her back....bu-bum !
