I have recently returned from a trip to Krakow, which so far is by far the best European city I have been to - absolutely loved the place.

Is Warsaw worth a visit?

It is but it's not that different from Krakow - bigger but the historic centre is all restored after being destroyed in the war. (Though they've done it meticulously so it still looks ancient.) So you might find it a bit much the same as you've just seen. I'm told Gdansk is good too but I haven't been there. Have you tried something a bit different like Prague?
I didn't really enjoy Warsaw. Taxis are a total ripoff, they don't even try to hide it and that spoiled it for me. On the other hand there is a fantastic restaurant called The Polska which is probably the best food I've had worlwide. Not enough to make me go back though. Riga or Helsinki are better choices, especially if you live in the south.
