Hi, i have a verrucca which i have been treating for the past three weeks with over the couner products with no luck. I had one three years ago, and i attended the doctors every ten days for two years so they could freeze it, at this point i was getting really fed up so they referred me to the hospital where they booked me in and lasered it out. they were so impressed by the size of it they photographed it before and after. Im looking for any ideas, old wives tales etc cos im not wanting to go through all that again for the next two years. Cheers K.

Apologies for not offering any advice here but I had a verucca that I treated with everything I could find with no success. It eventually disappeared on it's own.....after 18 years!! Good luck with yours!
yep I was the same, tried everything there is to use, it eventually went away after about 12 years of pain
Banana skins, they're good for getting rid of warts I believe, maybe they'd work on a verruca...
oh good idea (conjures up picture of banana skin under foot lol)

Yes i have heard the banana skin one, i will try that, i will try anything that might help, it is very sore and my job involves being on my feet for eight hours at a time so that dont help. How these tv adverts can claim one treatment works ... mmmm
My son also had over the counter treatment, that left him with very hard skin over his veruccas. The doctor describes it as like trying to walk with pebbles in your shoe as our son was getting so much pain from his veruccas. We bought him a Ped-egg from Boots. After a couple of weeks of using it the veruccas fell out completely and have not returned. The Ped-egg is a gentle but really effective foot file.

oooohh thats brilliant bookworm, it just so happens i bought one of these last week but wasnt planning on using it until this had cleared up. cheers x
Have you thought about visiting a chiropodist. I had one for years and spent a fortune on all the new over the counter products as they came out. A chiropodist was recommended to me by a friend and it only took two visits.
Bazooca (not sure about the spelling!) worked on my Daughter's in a matter of weeks.

I guess size might be important!
