So... I was supposed to come on my monthly's 5 days ago, so I asked my BF to get me a pregnancy test, just to rule this out and he told me I can get them free at the Doc's and to get an appointment as it's not like I have anything else to do (I am currently out of work). I do feel quite hormonal at the moment so he really p'd me off. I don't feel any different (as in pregnant), just thought we could rule it out, am I being unreasonable or is he being a ******?

he's right, go to the docs if you think there is a chance you may be pregnant and it IS free
you can buy a preg test at asda for 4quid, I bought one recently for my sister, was shocked at how cheap they have got, also chemists do the test for pennies as well.

I suppose it comes down to how you feel, if you are worried buy the test, it will give you peace of mind, if you are happy to wait for an appt at the docs then go for that.
He's being abit unsympathetic but maybe he thinks the money would be better spent on soemthing else - ie a large bar of chocalate. Sounds like he's due on his monthlies too!

Has he apologised yet?
I don't get why you wanted him to go. why not get one yourself?

I'm skint!
sara to save money....

how are you now? you found a single one yet?
well thats why he said to go to the docs, and to be honest if you are pregnant you will need to go anyway probably
doctors then..

if you are skint you cant blame him for refusing to buy one
but...in the long run, going to the drs and getting a test will cost more than 4 overall (due to the ridiculous nature of the nhs) so they (and the rest of the population) would probably actually save money by going to asda/chemist to buy one. and...if he was already out and has money as sazzy is skint, where's the problem? give in to your hormones, love and beat him with a frying pan...x
pmsl ^

but only after you've got he test...

Maybe it's just me, think I should just stay away from him for a bit until I stop being so miserable! The frying pan idea is a good one though. I will go Docs to check, don't think I am though, just a bit worried bout what it may be as I had a burning pain which seemed to come on the right side of my inside lady bits a couple of weeks ago that lasted about 2 days and now I haven't come on and I feel pretty mardy, just want to be back to normal!
didn't think of that cath...ditto! would've had my other half with a blunt object in a millisecond. my hormones (or any other lady's for that matter) are not to be messed with...its lucky for mr kicker that mine are relatively well controlled these days x
Now you know he aint gonna help, dont have sex and you wont get pregnant.
Bless ya, I'd be feeling more than a bit ****** off if a boyfriend of mine didn't want to know straightaway.

I've been having a pmt day so can sympathise. It was actually a relief to realise it was hormones though it did involve the half inching of some posh choccies someone had bought me at work which I was sharing out anyway.
Period 5days late and BF not interested........blimey what is the world coming too? What the f... do you want him to do, think of names, crack open a bottle of Moet?

Grow up, give it another 2weeks before you call BF a BF.

The Dr. too will be disappointed not to see you also.
Cost to you of a pregnancy test is less than a bottle of wine.

Cost of an appointment at your GP to yourself is nothing.

Actual cost of a wasted GP appointment to the NHS is probably more than fifty quid.

Wait a few more days or buy a test yourself.
