While I was doing my house work this morning I noticed that my legs were aching. The pain is in both legs between the knees and ankles and it hurts when I walk. If I point my toes up towards my knees its sore but, agony when i let my feet drop. I'm otherwise a fit and healthy young thing (Well 30 LOL) Does anybody regocnise these symptoms?

TY in advance xXx

Have you recently started wearing new shoes? Have you gone from high heels to flats or vice versa? Are you standing more now than usual?
are you a smoker?
only asking cos it could be circulation problems, if not go to your g.p. and he may refer you to a vascular consultant.

No, no and no. Its still there today. \i would have thought cramp as well but, its the exact same pain in both legs, weird!
Sounds muscular to me, so why not try NSAIDS either in Gel form or tablets e.g voltarol.
Sudden onset, both legs....unlikely to be vascular.
I get this when wearing unsupportive footwear.

I am the same age as you and have arthritis and find that shoes which don't have a cushioned sole such as those little cheap ballet pumps leave my legs in agony.

Could be shin splints or weak muscles in other parts of your legs increasing the pressure on that part.
