Are you all alone right now ? just sort of staring into space ? day dreaming ? thinking ? seems as though a million things are going through your mind, is your mind another word for your brain ? we' ve all heard that saying " Stop playing mind games with me ", and in some countries, playing/controlling your mind was/is some form of torture, confessing, signing to any paper put in front of you, is it our minds via the adverts,tv, whatever that has brain washed us into buying their product ? can you control your mind ? other peoples ? make anyone do something which they aren't aware of ? most women do it regulary, start crying, few tears, and us men are like putty in their hands, outside, up that ladder,painting the house, or whatever ! give me all your best ones please, mind games or control, read once that if you sat at the table long enough, just staring and concentrating on the glass, you will make it move ! fellas, perhaps thats why the misses is looking straight at you right now !!! can you read his/her mind ? are you that one step ahead 'cos you know what they're thinking ? are there battles because you know each other ( their mind, their way of thinking ) so well ? but then, will us men EVER really know what makes a woman tick ? answers please .

I'm sure there's much more possible with our minds than most of us care to bother about. Since i read 'Matilda' as a kid i've been convinced that it's possible to move things with your mind. and every now and then i do try...just in case!
I think mind games are amazing and i just don't understand how people like Derren Brown (calm down nicola_red!) do it. I'd love to learn but i reckon it'd freak people out cos they'd never know if you were trying something on with you! Imagine being able to make everyone always think the next round is on them. Brill!

ah poor Georgit 79, the long question done his head in ! his brain hurts ! his mind has gone blank ! 2nd row, honestly I don't recall really being able to use mind games to get what I want from a man. Although I have been thinking a lot lately about how the mindgames we're not even conscious of playing on others can control and change them for the worse. Perhaps I've just been bummed out lately, but noticing how repeatedly not looking a person in the eyes when they begin to talk - keeping focused on the commercials or video game or sky - kinda makes them talk less. Over time they begin to feel like what they have to say isn't even worth being heard so why say it? Or how always laughing at things they like, always having a negative comment can somehow eventually take all of the magic out of whatever it was they used to like so much. Like maybe there really isn't anything that great about it. Or how when you think someone is a bumbling idiot, when they pick up on those bad vibes you're sending they just get all uncomfortable and trip over even more words and look like an even bigger idiot. How telling someone you how much you dislike, for example, the service at this restaurant will condition them to perceive the service as poor next time they go even if it wasn't. just because you planted the seed. How about when you expect a party to suck it always does. I could go on and on but I'll spare everybody. You are right about the mind control. I have a hard time articulating this phenomenon to others, so it's nice to hear that atleast this is a valid component in interpersonal relations.
