They are floaters, and they are inside your eye. They are just small bits of debris and are harmless - you can read a bit about them here

I used to get the same thing when pregnant with my first child,it turned out to be due to very high blood pressure.
I would get your eyes checked soon chico and maybe get your BP checked just to be on the safe side :)
yes, they are called floaters - and you will usually see them when you look at a plain blank surface. Huderon is right they are little bits of debris and are harmless.

Most floaters are harmless...however not all are! they can be a symptom of high blood pressure as I stated before. We are not opticians or doctors and even if we were we could not diagnose you on the internet. You need to discuss this with a professional in a face to face situation chico.
I get floaters too. I didn't know they could be a symptom of something else, but my blood pressure is fine. best get it checked then!
Chicho - don't mean to be alarmist but feel I can say this as you say you have had them for some time.

My father mentioned that he had had blackness in one eye for a few seconds. Unfortunately he had a stroke next day. Turns out that it was a blood clot which must have been going through his system.

Do go to an optitician just to put our minds at rest.
