I am renting a flat that is privately rented. It is done through a letting agent. Some of my landlord's mail is being posted to my address (the flat I am renting from him). When this happens I need to either post it to the letting agent to them pass it onto the landlord or hand it into the letting agent. Should my landlord be getting any of his mail posted to me address?

I am renting my house out via a letting agent and have arranged all my mail to be redirected to my new address, Has your landlord not arranged to do the same???

I have done the same for my mail. For my landlord I am not sure if the mail he is getting at my address is for that property but yeah he should have re directed it. I know it sounds petty but I have to post the letter or go into the town and hand it in.
Write on the outside of the envelope

Moved to-----
------------- Using the letting agent's address

And just put it into the post box.

I see no reason why you should pay or be inconvenienced to send on his mail.

If any of his mail gets lost he will soon arrange redirection.
