I moved into a rented flat a month ago and the letting company has yet to send me the inventory they took before I moved in (Paid 92 quid for it). I have been chasing them for an answer without success. My body and soul is aching for a solution. Do they have a time limit within which they have to provide this information?

crumbs, thats pretty crappy - you should see it WHEN you move in, because what if there is something that is on there (plasma screen tv for example) that is not there, and never has been, you are stuck with having to provide one when you move out! Personally, i choked on my biscuit when i read you'd had t pay for it too!
I'd go and camp in the offices of the agency till they give it to you!
Blimey....you don't know what real pain is?

Just take photos to make your own inventory.
you wont have to replace an imaginary plasma screen... cos you wont have signed anything to say its there. same goes for the general condition of the place..... and good advise given before, do your own inventory with one of them cameras that have the date on
it is a piece of nonsense paying 92 for an inventory, when you signed up there should have been one handed over at the property. If they do not provide one then how are they going to prove what items were in the flat. Send a recorded delivery letter to them stating you have no inventory and as such you are not responsible for any losses etc.
