Hello, I posted a question last weekend about the fact that my cat, Bandit had a fall, was limping badly and did not seem to recovering as well as I hoped she would. (She had been taken to the vets a number of times).
Happily I can report that she is now much better and 99% recovered. She flew down the stairs today from her comfortable position on my bed, to get to her food bowl when she discovered it was dinner time!
I guess this means that I can start to reduce the extra treats that I have been giving her, but I guess that she will not be very impressed, when I do this!
Many thanks to those who responded to my original post with reassuring replies.
Cheers Sue

I have already had nearly 16 years of 'training' thanks DrFilth!
I probably am about brain washed enough to her satisfaction, although I guess that she has a few more lessons up her sleeve (or paw) for me!!

Brilliant news! Give her loads and loads of tickles from yours truly - it's the least she deserves after what she's been through.

Cheers Paraffin, she is snoozing contentedly in her cat bed in the lounge at the moment after filling her stomach....my other cat Ozzie has just demanded that I put the fire on for her, which I have done and she has claimed her normal place in front of it, stealing a lot of heat from my direction, sigh I guess I will just have to wait my turn to get warm then..........
I worry about my cat too. Eating seems to tire him out so much that he just flops on my bed for hours on end.

Sometimes he musters up the energy to purr a little when I tell him he is lazy.
glad shes on the mend

Thanks Ruthann.
Panic Button I think that you may need to give your cat some of the strength building extra treats that I had Bandit on, it has worked for her, she has managed to drag herself into her cat bed in front of the fire and cocked an ear in response to my calling her name, You see, full of boundless energy!
great to get a positive reply and pleased to hear Bandit is almost 100% - course as soon as the treats stop there'll be a relapse but that's cats for you. go well
