GCSE Grades are from A* - U

A* is the best anyone can get, U stands for 'unclasified', this is the worst anyone can do.

A* is fantastic

A is excellent

B is very good

C is quite good/Average

D is below average

E is not too good

F is definitely not good

G is very poor

U is Unclasifed

least i know what my U's meant now, Are you sure a U didnt mean anything different 10 years ok

No it was still Unclassified ten years ago Donkey.

pompey it's cool, don't worry about it. after college GCSE's don't mean a thing!!

pompey, I got 7 A*s and 3 As, and then 4 As at A'level, and then a 2:1 degree, and I'm stuck in a job I don't like that pays rubbish money, going basically nowhere! So to sum up, exams don't mean anything in the long run!
with those grades your best off getting an apprenticeship, theres good money in plumbing(true)
