Why do some people obsess about changing others?

I firmly believe this stems from their own inadaquecy, people who have told me that they want me to change my appearance or had a dig at me have always been the more unhappier person, the digs always happened when they were feeling down.

I always somehow manage to do it to myself which is soooo the wrong thing to do, then spend ages finding the old me again when it doesnt work out lol

Yes by my children and I did it -suffice I am now off the wagon but only in small doses.Thats how much i care for my children -they were just scared- i wasnt even a heavy drinker at allI just gave up-simple as that for ages -so for all you trolls who have had goes at me I was sober 24/7 for at least 6 months and even now you would be lucky to catch me with a couple of glasses of wine-so get it right up ye's -(yeah i have wanted to say that for so long)They had enough on their plate and in their mind naturally they didnt want to lose another parent.

Yes. We were happy but...in my opinion things from his past were an issue that he never dealt with and as he got older the problem got worse. He then started critising me. He used underhand insults......
