I had this done at a place in Cardiff for 299. It was a complete waste of money. It doesn't 'whiten' your teeth, it simply makes them a few shades lighter. My gums were sore, swollen and bleeding for a few days after (although, to be fair, they did warn me about this). Anyway, I have since had the tray/bleach procedure done by my dentist and it is absolutely amazing!!! Go see your dentist instead. Once you have the trays, you can buy the bleach and 'top up' for special occasions.
I had the laser one done and was very pleased with the results. At the time my teeth were sensitive for 24 hours and I wasnt to drink red wine, tea/coffee or fizzy drinks for 24 hours after. I got it done two years ago.My dentist did tell me that it isnt the best solution and he did the tray/bleach procedure too and as scoobydooby says, its amazing.
I paid 300 to have mine done 2 years ago. I had Zoom Whitening and it wasn't a nice experience, my teeth were hyper sensitive for 48 hours and I had to take pain killers.

My teeth were never overtly stained or yellow, so the results weren't as dramatic as I'd hoped, so it probably worked better for those who smoke, drink red wine, coffee or tea.

It's relatively safe and one treatment is enough for most people, but having it done too much will probably cause the tooth enamel to erode or become porous, causing sensitivity.
do you have to sleep with the tray in?

Zoom whitening is a quick version of tooth whitening, it only takes an hour and is carried out in a salon environment.

The technician coats the teeth with a solution, whilst the mouth is held open with a shield, which supposedly protects the gums, then you have to sit still in a chair, whilst an Ultra Violet light is aimed at the teeth for an hour.
I'd never have anythinglike that done. All those kind of treatments significantly WEAKEN your teeth. (I suppose the fact that everyone above mentioned the sensitivity kind of proves that interms of symptoms not facts)

I'd steer well clear. Incidentally I use sensodyne whitening or pro enamel and would never even consider using anything "stronger". Not even if you paid me!
Tooth whitening is fine as long as it's not done regularly. Once is enough and providing you avoid over consumption of staining foods and drinks, it need not be done again.

Whitening toothpastes do not work and it really depends on the type of person you are, as to whether or not you would have it done.
i had mine donw and i have 4 veneers so there whitened up to A1 to match the venners which is really white i love my teeth now had them done in time for my wedding and smiled all day i paid 199 but it wasnt lasering it was bleach .. because i needed done in a hurry they done it in the clinic rather than send me home with trays so i got better result it took about 6hours and 2 home trays about a week

good luck
