im thinking of getting one,can you use them for arm strength,or is that just a marketing ploy?

they are very good for arm strength, mainly wrist and forearm. After a session your forearms fell like jelly belive me. The only problem is the tendency to not be so good wih your "wrong" hand so one sde will be stronger than the other.
