being a mature dad, i was wondering how long i will have to pay the c.s.a? i'm not against paying for my children, but can the c.s.a.take money off me when i retire, and can they take any of my company pension.

Yes, they can - all your income is taken in to account
You must continue paying until your offspring cease to be 'children', as defined by the relevant legislation. If they go into full-time further education (e.g. to take A-levels), your liability will cease when the 'child' finishes the course, or reaches their 19th birthday (whichever is the earlier). Otherwise they cease to be 'children' at the age of 16.

However, the amount you have to pay will change as your income changes:

thankyou ethel and beunchico, while i'm not over the moon about paying thec.s.a. into retirement, i don't begrudge my children a penny,i only wish and hope they get it.
when u say mature does that mean over 18 then???
