I am Catherine also known as Cat to my friends, of which none of you are and Ihave known Steve for around 3 months. the last two of which have been a sort of relationship.

That doesn't make sense. You have known him 3 months, the last 2 have been intimate.

You must have JUST found out you are pregnant, and if that's the case you'll have missed 2 periods, alarm bells should have been ringing then and you still had another month of intimacy with him after the first missed period.
