Poppies worn by television presenters and guests???

It seems that most presenters such as news and light entertainment wear these but also there guests i wonder if they ask there guests or say you will have to wear one when we interview you, they cant all agree to wear one surely????

Hi all... I don't think for one minutre they could 'INSIST' that they wear a poppy. I would like to think that they 'CHOOSE' to wear one out of respect and decency.

I went on a Itv quiz show once it was recorded september but was going out in November and I was presented with a poppy to wear

It is only a small percentage of people that refuse to wear one, wether they are on tele or not.
It's a national tradition.

didnt think they would be under duress to wear one, but there must be some people that dont want to wear one due to the views on wars!!!

Wearing a Poppy doesn't mean that you condone war. Wearing a poppy shows your respect for the tens of thousands of heroes past and present who have fought for their country. I don't agree with war in the slightest but I 100% support our troops.

Once I went to a recording of a show where I was in the audience. Because it was gonna be aired in November, we had to put on poppies.

I think it was July and we did look silly.
