ONLY 3p a minute!!!

if she runs the heating for 8 hours a day that's going to cost over 400 pounds a month!!!

For single room heating oil filled electric radiators are about the best bet

Yes, 3p a minute sounds cheap if you say it fast but that is 1.80 an hour- really expensive!
I agree with Chuckfickens re oil-filled radiators. Cheap, mobile and no naked flame or bars so you can leave it on safely if you go out. Also very effective.
Oil-filled radiators, I agree are the best choice. However the stand-alone halogen heaters are very good as an additional odd one, for extra heat in a particular place, (just one). Ideal for grandmas as if the are knocked of fall over, theu switch themselves off.
oil filled defo, i have 3 under the stairs waiting for when it really cold, i will put them on whilst im out { on a timer} rather than my radiators as its far cheaper
how much per hour does oil filled radiators cost
tia
about 1 unit an hour, so depends on your electricity price, but probably between about 10-14pence
