I have been told by my consultant I will need to go in to a 'Walking Plaster' to let the inflammation in foot settle down (I have RA) but she rattled off a specific name of plaster which I am not trying (but failing) to recall. It was something beginning with 'B' like Bafal but could have been anything with B! Any ideas anyone as am trying to find out exactly what it is before I agree to it! Thanks.

Hi pixiemum, I thnk the doc is referring to a cast with a metal rocker allowing you to walk, but with the affected area still being supported. A google search should throw up a load of hits.
